Chris Copp, MBA
Director of Strategy and Branding

Chris has over 15 years in executive marketing positions, first with Fallon McElligott (twice named US agency of the year) in the USA, and later in Canada with Southam and Torstar. He brings high-level experience in all aspects of marketing and communications, including brand strategy development and copywriting for major accounts such as Coca-Cola, Ralston Purina, and American Brands. Chris holds a Bachelors degree from Queen’s University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Darko Brdjanin, MA
Director of Operations and Creative Development

Darko’s career began in Europe working as an art director with Saatchi and Saatchi, and as a consultant and assistant professor in advertising and design. In Canada he quickly established new credentials working as senior art director on leading accounts including Enbridge/Consumers Gas, Environment Canada, Natural Resources Canada, and Progistix (former division of Bell Canada). Darko holds a Bachelors degree from the Sarajevo Fine Art Academy, and a Masters degree in Product Design from the Universita Internazionale Dell’Arte in Florence, Italy.

Doug Hall, BFA
Senior Art Director

Doug has over ten years experience in branding and website design. Eight years working for agencies in New York and Dallas, including Bernhardt Fudyma Design Group and Click Here, a division of the Richards Group. Doug’s BFA in Communication Design is from Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas.

Jamie Anderson
Senior Developer / Web Strategist

Jamie’s expertise is in web and app development, search engine optimization, and social media marketing. He graduated with distinction from the Computer Programmer Analyst program at Conestoga College and has been with the COPP team for over four years. He plays drums in two bands, and in his spare time when he's not on a computer, he’s probably on a computer.

Kevin Nunn
Senior Graphic Designer

Before joining the team at COPP, Kevin graduated from the Conestoga College Graphic Design program and worked for three years as an interactive designer at Cineplex Digital Solutions. He is multi-disciplinary with experience in print, web and motion design.

Val Maw
Senior Graphic Designer

Val’s background includes design and copywriting for business marketing, magazines and newspapers, retail, the non-profit sector, event planning and outdoor advertising. Her BA is from the University of Guelph, and she is an alum of the Conestoga College Graphic Design program.

Shannon Edmondson
Graphic Designer

Shannon graduated from the Graphic Design program at Fanshawe College with high honours. She most recently worked as the Graphic Design & Marketing Coordinator for the North American office of DigiPoS Store Solutions. Shannon has diverse experience in graphic, web and user interface design. She attributes her phenonmenal attention to detail to “a touch of OCD.”

Emily Copp, MA
Content Marketer and Copywriter

Emily has worked as a Content Marketer in the marketing and tech industries for over three years. She’s passionate about creating brand stories that resonate with target audiences, generating interest and attracting new leads for our clients. Her areas of expertise are: corporate blogging, content development, copywriting and digital media strategy. Emily has a Masters in English literature from the University of Edinburgh.

John Kocemba

John specializes in brand strategy and using social media to build meaningful relationships with consumers, particularly in the highly competitive home products marketplace. John has held executive marketing roles in entrepreneurial and blue-chip businesses, and helped companies straddle French/English markets and Canadian/US markets with success.

John has a BA from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from McGill University. He conducts meetings and presentations in both English and French.

Chris Dippell

Christopher Dippell is expert at building powerful and successful marketing campaigns that generate results. With more than 15 years of hands-on experience as a senior marketing professional, his expertise includes but is not limited to: brand strategy, promotion, advertising, customer loyalty, corporate communications, event management, social media, online strategy, public relations and more.

Chris served as the Director of Strategic Marketing for PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he managed a 25 person marketing staff. His experience includes marketing roles with the consulting, accounting, insurance, high technology, construction, and tourism sectors.


Jill Slack

Jill has been copy writing for over ten years. She holds a Double Honours Major in Mass Communication and Psychology and an Honours Diploma in Creative Advertising. She says, “If you can name it, I’ve written it. Seriously.” Jill’s written everything from traditional communications to interactive gaming to phone scripts. Her areas of focus include: Branding, DM, Radio, Web, Print, DM, POP, B2B and B2E.

Memory Tree

Since 1996 Memory Tree has helped clients reach their communications objectives through video. They’ve produced video for product launches, community profiles, education & awareness, employee training, National TV commercials & PSAs, and documentary-style vignettes.
